Music Ministry Program of Evangel Heights
The music ministry of Evangel Heights provides an outlet to musicians of all ages, levels, and areas of expertise to praise the Lord with their unique talents and gifts.- Chancel Choir is an adult choir. They provide anthems and service music for the 8:45 and 11:00 am Sunday worship services and special services both inside and outside the church. Rehearsals are Thursday from 7:30 - 9:00 pm from the end of August to the end of May.
- Evangel Ringers, the Handbell choir, is composed of ringers high school age and older with a unique love and dedication to handbell music. They rehearse from 6:00 - 7:30 pm on Thursday evenings from the end of August to the end of May. They ring for the Sunday services generally once a month and for special services.
- Grace Notes is the Chime Choir for grades 4 through High School. They meet on Sunday mornings from 11:00 - 11:30 am. They play for the morning worship services various time throughout the year. Meet from September to May.
- Children's Choir is for ages 6 through 6th grade. They meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month during the 8:45 worship service. Meet from September through May.
- Instrumental Ensembles are assembled as needed and vary in makeup according to the musical demands.
