Becky and her husband, Chris, have been married for 42 years and have 2 children and 8 grandchildren. With Jesus Christ as the glue and center of her family, she desires to strengthen other families to find strength through growing spiritually together.
She believes that strong, spiritual families will contribute to a stronger world. She has over 20 years of ministry experience. A few to mention are eight years of sharing Jesus with inner city children and their families, Vacation Bible School, helping develop and assist ministries for those with disabilities, including Bridges Worship, Luvability Ministries and Sunshine Ministries here at Evangel Heights. Katy lives on a small farm in SW Michigan with her husband and kids. When she is not serving at our church, Katy works independently in the financial profession. Katy loves the people of this church and counts it a gift to be able to serve here and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, making music and glorifying the One who made us, who knows us, and has loved us before we even knew Him.
Kathy has served as the church secretary here at EHUMC for many years but has served a total of 16 years as a secretary for a few local churches here in the Michiana area. Kathy and her husband have 4 grown children and 11 grandchildren (9 boys and 2 girls).
They also have a big, fat rescue dog who is part Black Lab and part Newfoundland. In her free time, Kathy loves to garden, decorate, read, sew. and do computer work (believe it or not!). Just a fun fact, she just started a hook-rug project!
